My second cookbook review for my Page to Plate column is in today’s Tampa Bay Times. Summer is a great time to dive into fruit desserts, which is the focus of Yossy Arefi’s cookbook, Sweeter off the Vine. I love pies, galettes, and anything in that family, so this was a fun cookbook to explore.
Some recipes I’d flip to first in this cookbook: Strawberry Campari Paletas, Apricot and Berry Galette With Saffron Sugar, Sweet Cherry and Rhubarb Slab Pie, Plum Pie with Hazelnut Crumb and a Rye All-Butter Pie Crust.
